Bloom's Taxonomy of Intellectual Behaviour describes the critical thinking skills in three steps - a) Analysis, b) evaluation, and c) creating.
To get involved into critical thinking one need to understand or analyse that there is a problem exists. This can be done by sensing the variations in phenomena. For instance, if an economic scholar has been asked to give reasons about the great recession observed in the year 2007-09 which, leads to slow down in the worlds’ economy, he can follow bloom’s taxonomy of intellectual behaviour to accomplish the goal.
An economic scholar should be able to analyse in do comparative analysis that why the situation great recession. The vicious cycle and the factors of its occurrence can be closely looked into. A micro economic analysis process can be followed for a better understanding the hindrance in the factors of development. A close analyse for the circular flow of money is needed.

An economic student should not forget that money is just an instrument of exchange. In real productivity and production plays a role to augment the economy. One needs to consider the welfare economic and try doing better off in the areas of development. In this case, a researcher may needs to work in a combination of faculty say science and commerce in order to give strength to the problems. He/she can also accommodate a science scholar or scientist while working on issues which is related scientifically.
